Mechanical Designer  

Department: Product Manangement

Reports To: Team Leader

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create CAD drawings of mechanical systems and components by studying engineering sketches, reviewing customer specifications and supporting documents.

  • Developing technical engineered designs of system, components and parts data, identifying materials and finishes, dimensions, angles and tolerances required for production.

  • Depicting components and parts by imputing structure BOM (Bill of Materials) into computer system.

  • Modifies drawings, documenting changes and identifying revisions.

  • Plan, design and structure sequence of operations to fabricate and assemble parts or products to promote efficient utilization.

  • Analyze data and product specifications to determine standards and establish quality objectives of finished designs.

  • Resolve discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information conferring with Sales and Customers.

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

  • Other duties as assigned.


Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This position does not require supervisory responsibilities


Education and/or Experience

  • 2 to 4 years related experience as a mechanical drafter and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Familiar with manufacturing processes and procedures.

  • Education/experience with CAD programs and principles involved in the design process of parts and component specifications including material properties, technical data, blueprints, drawings, and models.

  • Strong computer skills a must.

Sales Account Manager 

Department: Sales

Reports To: Regional Sales Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with customers on requirements and specifications of projects and initiatives.

  • Assist customers and Product Management with product application issues and tasks through fax, email and/or telephone communications when required.

  • Establishes and implement account management tools to ensure effective and accurate communications are established between customer and working team to facilitate status and timeline of projects for efficiencies, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations.

  • Review and analyze plans, specifications, bills of material, and other applicable contract documents for preparing a quotation for a project. Ensure that initiatives meet all audit, compliance, and legal objectives and/or requirements.

  • Maintain project database.

  • Responsible for tracking project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of customers.

  • Receive and process project approvals and releases.

  • Ensure ongoing communication between all parties with regard to project orders.

  • Submission of request for information to clients.

  • Facilitating conference calls, coordinating meetings, scheduling updates, submitting deliverables, and addressing outstanding ‘open items’ as requested.

  • Preparation of weekly/monthly progress reports and reporting to management team.

  • Provide guidance and direction for estimators during the estimation process when needed.

  • Ensuring the engineering team s and leadership are well-coordinated and on the same page regarding project status.

  • Helping make dependencies, blockers, and current status is visible at all times for assigned projects and products.

  • Work and coordinate with Sales team to identify and prioritize opportunities.

  • Travel may be required to customer site when needed.

  • Ability to see the project as a whole.

  • Maintain quality assurance standards.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Leadership Responsibilities:

  • This position does not require supervisory responsibilities.


Education and/or Experience:

  • Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Preference given to applicants with previous experience in sales, proposal preparation and project coordination.

  • Proficient computer skills.
